This past Sunday I had a photo shoot scheduled with little Harlow for her 2nd birthday photos at one of our local state parks. I was very under the weather form my infection on my leg and actually forgot all about it till I got a phone call 15 minutes before the shoot was supposed to happen. As much as I really should have cancelled, I put on my big girl panties and went on my not so merry way and got to work.
When I arrived, Harlow was there waiting for me with her mother and a friend of mine that booked the shoot as a gift. Apparently Harlow is not fond of strangers, but for some reason she loved me right away. She went right into work mode and was posing and smiling right away. We moved from one side of the park to the other taking pics on the dock, on the bridge and in the field.
Harlow was one of the busiest little two year old’s that I have ever done a shoot of. Though the shoot stated out with smiles and poses, it quickly went into tears and screaming as well. Just like any two year old, she was very distracted, wanted to go where she wanted, when she wanted, and the word no was just not acceptable. But we worked through the tears, screams, laughs, falls, and even the lack of interest in me being there once she figured out what we were doing.
Once it was all said and done, I was pretty happy with several of the frames I got of her. We even squeezed in a few of her and her mama. Those were actually my favorite. She is such a cute little girl and her mama is just as beautiful.
